Power quality equipment

Power quality equipment is used in power systems to ensure a continuous and stable flow of power. On high-voltage lines, it is particularly important to measure capacitive currents to enable the regulation of the network and to guarantee its quality and reliability.

The NCS range of current sensors offered by PETERCEM SENSORS are 100% electronic closed-loop sensors capable of measuring high currents up to 40,000 A.

With an opening of up to 30 cm in diameter, our NCS current collectors allow the passage of large copper bars as well as cables with large cross-sections for the primary conductor. This is particularly suitable for use in the grid and smart grids.

Also, NCS sensors can be opened, which makes it much easier to install them on electrical circuits, since it is not necessary to disconnect the equipment from the network to integrate them.

The connection of the secondary circuit can also be adapted according to our customers’ requirements. We offer a wide range of plug-in connectors as well as adaptations with a shielded cable with a crimped connector at the end.
